ENCHANTED WINTER
Over the years, Vermiglio has become one of the capitals of cross-country skiing in Italy, hosting numerous national and international competitive events. From the Cross-Country Ski Center, more than 20 km of wonderful trails, renowned throughout Trentino, extend. Loops of varying difficulty cater to both beginners and experts, and it's truly worth immersing yourself in this surreal atmosphere of tranquility and silence among the snow-capped fir trees and the tracks of deer and roe deer. There are countless splendid trails for ski mountaineering and snowshoeing .
In addition to ski mountaineering and snowshoeing in Vermiglio, you can also enjoy downhill skiing in the nearby Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area , where you'll find wide, open spaces, ski lifts reaching altitudes of 3,000 meters , snow-capped peaks wherever you look, a glacier, the Presena, where you can ski until late spring, 100 kilometers of slopes, and 28 ski lifts.

Vermiglio also offers a wide selection of hikes and walks on the surrounding trails. Relaxing strolls through the silent woods will rejuvenate both body and mind; Nordic walking trails , as well as itineraries, trails, forest roads, and simple mule tracks, also suitable for mountain biking . You can venture onto high-altitude mountain trails to reach refuges or ridges where the remains of trenches are still visible and offer breathtaking views.
