The Val di Sole is pure mountain scenery; the scenery is unique: the majestic peaks of Adamello, Presanella, and Ortles-Cevedale, glaciers, forests, streams, mountain pastures, and ancient farmsteads.
Much of the territory is protected by the Adamello Brenta Natural Park and the Stelvio National Park .
Water is the dominant feature of the valleys: the Noce, ranked by National Geographic as one of the ten best rivers in the world for rafting , hosts international canoeing and rafting kayaking competitions. Adrenaline-filled and fun, rafting is suitable for everyone and can be tried at one of the valley's many centers.
But the mountain bike world championships were also held here in Val di Sole, so the routes for enthusiasts are numerous and varied and include the Val di Sole cycle path which runs along the Noce, following ancient and rustic roads.
The Adamello and Brenta mountain groups, rich in alpine lakes and glaciers , offer an infinite number of excursions and crossings for everyone, beginners and experts.
Val di Sole has two spas , one in Rabbi and the other in Pejo. The Pejo spa is also open during the winter season.
Val di Sole offers a wealth of opportunities for skiing enthusiasts. The Folgarida-Marilleva ski area, thanks to its connection to Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo, creates an immense ski area spanning over 150 km. The Presena Glacier and the Tonale Pass, together with Pontedilegno, form another network of 100 km of slopes. In the Stelvio National Park, Pejo is ideal for family skiing, but also for ski mountaineering in contact with nature.
